I sketched up and animated a playful prototype of a community sculptural piece- we’ll call it the Energy Center. The Energy Center lives in an open space in a city park. The center piece is a mirrored kaleidoscope, flanked by rounded tiered seating. It’s a place for the community to gather, to eat lunch, or share a conversation with a friend over a cup of coffee. Most importantly, the space is open to other interpretations and uses as the community sees fit.
